Spartan Summer Interns in NYC
Posted by Jason Slomack | April 03, 2013
Can you help young Spartans in New York this summer?
After a successful 2012, The Academic Internship Council is again helping a select group of MSU students find summer internships in NYC.
These students are looking for opportunities in human services, media, government, fashion, the arts, and journalism in a city that one called “the quintessential work location” in her application essay. They’ve already built great experience in their fields, from studying abroad and working for non-profits, to staffing state senators and editing for student media outlets.
In the tradition of MSU, these students are seeking to advance the common good in uncommon ways. They will earn academic credit and work hard during this 10-week program, and they are considering paid and unpaid internships.
If you can make room for a fellow Spartan in your company or organization, contact Surabhi Lal at 646-380-4056 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
And if you can help introduce these students to the city, we’d love to have you join us for a welcome event on the evening of Tuesday, June 5th. Contact us if you’re interested and we will send the details closer to the date.
