Recap: Green and White Evening

Posted by Pat Donohue | October 06, 2013

Last week the MSUAA Executive Director, Scott Westerman, joined our New York Spartans for a Green & White Evening, discussing how he uses social media over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Westerman’s recent viral campaign encouraged alumni to contribute a small donation to the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance in response to the “Go Blue” written in the sky over Spartan Stadium during the Youngstown State game. Westerman, who refers to himself as “Head Servant”, also discussed his mission to provide enriching opportunities for Spartans long after they leave East Lansing.

At the event, the MSU Alumni Club of Greater NY also raffled off two tickets for the Michigan vs. Michigan State football game. Eric Hamilton won the prime, lower bowl seats for this year’s showdown in East Lansing on Nov. 2, 2013.
