A few Spartan questions for Amy Rademacher:
Q: What was your major at MSU and what year did you graduate?
A: I majored in International Relations and graduated in 1991.
Q: What are you doing now for work?
A: I’m the ethics officer for an international development firm, Chemonics International. I promote honest and responsible business practices throughout our financial services, private sector development, health, environmental management, agriculture, democracy and governance, and disaster management work around the world.
Q: Where do you live?
A: Upper West Side.
Q: Favorite NYC restaurant?
A: Casa Mono.
Q: What is best part of living in the NY area?
A: I love the diversity of people, museums, music, and parks.
Q: What is best part of being a Spartan in New York?
A: I’ve enjoyed getting to know kind and fun-loving Spartans at Blondie’s. These fans have lived the drama of Spartan sports.
Q: If you could invite 3 people from any time who were associated with Michigan State to dinner who would they be?
A: President Simon because she is in a position to influence the lives of so many and is continuing to improve an institution I love. My advisor at James Madison College, who passed away while I was in school, to thank him for his encouragement. And Coach Izzo to talk hoops.
