October 6, 2012 @ 7:30 pm$20
Minsoo Sohn is on the faculty of the MSU College of Music and 2006 Prize Laureate of Canada’s prestigious Honens International Piano Competition.
Mr. Sohn has been described by The Boston Globe as an artist, a man who will create a life in music, find listeners, and reward them. Known as a performer with poetic vision and musical intelligence, Sohn is widely gathering accolades from critics and audiences alike for his masterful virtuosity and artistic expression.
In 2011, The New York Times named Minsoo Sohn “a genuine artist” and chose his recording of the Goldberg Variations as one of the top classical recordings of the year. He brings his “radiant interpretation” of Bach’s masterwork to Carnegie Hall for this highly anticipated concert. Presented by the Honens Foundation with support from Michigan State University.
