Board of Directors

The MSUACGNY Board of Directors is a group of 16 local Spartan volunteers. We work together, and with other local Alumni, to plan social, educational, athletic and entertainment events throughout the year. If you’re interested in becoming a Board Member, or would like to help out with one of our committees, please drop us a note. We’d love to hear from you!

Kelly Lundquist

As a third generation Spartan from Grand Rapids, Kelly grew up tailgating every fall by the Sparty statue. So it was no surprise when she decided to join the family tradition and become a Spartan herself. Kelly graduated in 2011 with a dual degree from James Madison College in Comparative Cultures and Politics and the College of Comm Arts in Communications and Public Relations. During her time on campus, Kelly was involved in greek life and worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the IM pools, but her favorite extracurricular was meeting friends at Crunchy’s every Thursday night to share a bucket and sing karaoke.
She first found herself in NY in 2010 with an internship at a PR firm, and after weekly game watches at Mercury Bar and a season on the alumni dodgeball team, she knew she had to become a NY Spartan. Kelly returned to East Lansing to finish her senior year, and within two weeks of graduation was back in New York. After stints in market research and consulting, Kelly now works in advertising at Havas Media and lives in Brooklyn. In her free time, she loves planning trips (be it to far away sunny islands or fall football Saturdays with the family back in EL) and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Tiffany Marsh - Director, MSU Alumni Club of Greater New York

Tiffany Marsh

Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Tiffany attended Michigan State University and earned her BA in Social Relations from James Madison in 2001. Tiffany moved to New York City shortly after graduation and earned her MBA in Marketing from Long Island University. She currently lives in Brooklyn and is working in healthcare advertising in Midtown. Tiffany has a deep passion for traveling. Her favorite destinations include Southeast Asia, South America and Scandinavia. When not traveling, she can be found riding her bike throughout the streets of NYC on the weekends. She loves sharing her Spartan pride with alumni in NYC.

Bob McGee

Bob McGee

Bob was a member of the Spartan Marching Band and performed in two Rose Bowls. He was instrumental in our club reforming in 1989, and he was President for many years. Bob was awarded the Alumni Service Award in 1996 from the MSUAA for his efforts. Bob is a true Spartan for life and is as enthusiastic today about Michigan State as if he just graduated last week. He has served on the board for over 20 years and served for 3 years on the National Board of MSUAA. Bob and his wife Carol were married 50 years ago in the MSU Chapel and now reside in Connecticut.

Kristen moved to New York City a few years ago from Plymouth, Michigan. By day she works at a creative advertising agency, and spends her free time exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and catching shows when she can. As a 2012 graduate of Michigan State and new board member, she looks forward to connecting with fellow Spartans and bringing some green and white vim to the banks of the East and Hudson rivers.
