All Michigan State University alumni are invited to return to campus to attend Alumni Reunion Days and the MSU Spring Green and White Football Game, April 24 – 26.

The Class of 1964 will be honored as the newest 50-year alums at the Kedzie Luncheon, and are invited to attend a special celebratory dinner hosted by the 1964 Senior Class Council.

In an extraordinary display of virtuosity, the Michigan State University Wind Symphony dazzled a nearly sold-out Carnegie Hall for its February 22 appearance. The program of contemporary music featured John Corigliano’s peripatatic Eighth Symphony, “Circus Maximus, ” a performance that showcased the ensemble’s entire range of musical talent.

An estimated 200 Spartans and friends gathered at the Brooklyn Marriott Saturday night for a pre-game reception and rally before Michigan State’s victory in the title game of the Coaches versus Cancer tournament at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The event was hosted by the MSU Alumni Association and included a lavish buffet of hors d’oeuvres and pastries.

Michigan State Homecoming is always a special weekend for Spartans. Every year the MSU Alumni Association plans numerous events for those returning to campus. Among those events is the Grand Awards Gala at which Spartans from around the world and all walks of life are honored for their accomplishments.

Last week the MSUAA Executive Director, Scott Westerman, joined our New York Spartans for a Green & White Evening, discussing how he uses social media over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Westerman’s recent viral campaign encouraged alumni to contribute a small donation to the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance in response to the “Go Blue” written in the sky over Spartan Stadium during the Youngstown State game.

This month marked the close of the Spartan Alumni kickball team’s season. Even though they just missed the playoffs, the 26 person roster still had a blast competing and getting to know each other. We would also like to offer a big thanks to the team’s fearless leader, Andrea Hargrave, for facilitating the season.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Sunday Cornhole has been changed to Wednesdays.
Register as an individual for the Wednesday Manhattan Cornhole League in the casual division, and put “Michigan State Alumni” in the comments section to get placed on the team.
